Zohreh Davoudi is an Associate Professor of Physics at the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Fellow at the Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science (QuICS). She co-authored with Silas Beane and Martin J. Savage the proposal that a discrete lattice structure of spacetime would produce a detectable anisotropic pattern in cosmic ray distributions. Her research blends particle physics, quantum thermodynamics, and quantum simulation, often in collaboration with Nicole Yunger Halpern and Chris Jarzynski.
